LEAPS-120 Digital Distribution Center
The Digital Distribution Center (DDC) is the core device on the Leviton Entertainment & Applications Platform and lets you view or listen to virtually anything that can be stored in a PC on any entertainment system in your home. Combining the functions of digital photo archive, digital music jukebox and digital video server, the DDC allows homeowners to easily organise, access, control and enjoy digital photos, music and video – from any number of sources – in any outfitted room in the home. It can easily store and distribute up to 120,000 photos, or up to 24,000 songs, or up to 120 videos (or any combination thereof).
LEAPS-0DP Digital Player w/Remote Control
The Digital Player and Remote Control act as a bridge between the Digital Distribution Center (DDC) – which does the work of organising, retrieving and enabling all the digital content stored in the home, including photos, video, MP3 music, CDs and others – and standard consumer electronics such as stereo systems, entertainment centers, televisions and more. The Digital Player is connected to these components with standard audio/video cabling. Making use of the home’s structured cabling system, each Digital Player communicates with the centrally located DDC over an Ethernet Category-5/5e connection. The Digital Player decodes the stored DDC content and delivers it locally to the connected components. The included Remote Control provides an easy-to-use means of navigating that works with on-screen menus on a TV, making searching, retrieving and viewing or listening to digital entertainment (videos, photos and music files) as easy as using a TV set and remote control combination.
